About Me

I grew up on Hyco Lake, NC and in the Danville, VA community. 

I've always had an interest in photography - it started by stealing by dad's digital cameras growing up and deeming myself the photographer for trips, events, and just daily life. I think I got so interested because my dad was always taking pictures of everything - he would fill up an 8GB SD card during a snow day just taking pictures of nothing and everything while my sister and I played. 

When I was 14, my dad got me the Canon Powershot SX50 and that was truly the moment I knew that a camera belonged in my hand. My love for photography has only grown form there; the only thing that's changed are the cameras that I use (still a Canon gal through and through, though - sorry Nikon fans!)

I photograph everything from sports to engagements to weddings to family and individual portraits. When you're in front of the camera, it's all about you and I'll do my best to make you feel the most comfortable and most confident in yourself.
